Falling in love with the Caribbean.
Tracy Guerrero
the woman behind
On her very first visit to Antigua, Tracy
experienced Caribbean hospitality at its best.
The place where she was staying was the
venue of a family reunion. She and her friend
were “adopted” by the family and island tours,
introductions to other family members and
invitations to BBQs ensued. Tracy and her friend
were made to feel right at home and she is
convinced that this interaction was responsible
for cementing her bond with Antigua!
The island Event Planners ...
T
he Caribbean has been known to
beckon visitors to its shores, its sun,
sea and sand seemingly magnetic,
drawing unsuspecting victims closer,
then capturing them with its whimsical
beauty, serenity and island-charm. Some may
vacation for a while and return year after year,
while others may just decide to stay! After all,
they’ve found paradise - why leave?
Tracy Guerrero is one such visitor who fell in
love with the Caribbean and decided to make
Antigua W.I.
it her home. She first visited the island of
Antigua in 2003. Over a two and a half year
period, she visited eleven times then, in 2005,
she made it her home.
Today, you will find Tracy in Antigua, running
Indigo, which she started in 2006. Indigo
is a bespoke event management company
specialising in destination weddings and
providing DMC services to high end incentive
groups and others looking for a personalised
service.
Visiting so many times before finally moving to
Antigua gave her the opportunity to meet many
people and get an insight into the ‘real Antigua’
which was more than just the beach and beach
bars.
Born and raised in the UK, Tracy’s background
encompases the whole of the exhibition
and events industry where she worked in
sales, marketing, organizing and business
development. Her extensive experience in that
field has been transferred to Indigo, THE Island
Event Planners.
WEDDINGS
The destination weddings Tracy and her team
arrange are as special to them as they are to the
couple and no wedding is too small or too large,
Indigo has arranged them for just the couple
and the largest to date has been for 200 guests.
Indigo is not tied to any hotel or venue and
works across the island organising everything
from the ceremony, to hair and make up to
entertainment to decor to reception venue,
flowers, cake and everything in between!

there are no residency requirements and it is
