More reasons to visit the British Virgin Islands Conch Mountain Discarded conch shells form a mountain on the eastern end of Anegada. These conch shells are deposited here by fishermen after cleaning the conch they have found on their fishing expeditions. The conch shells are very sharp so care should be taken if attempting to explore the “mountain”. You can buy conch directly from the fishermen here and lobsters too.
