Located by the old pier in Kralendijk, a
Roman style building offers a selling place to
Venezuelans who come by boat to sell their
fruit and vegetables. When the cruise ships are
in port there is also a craft market located in
the nearby Wilhelmina Park with local items
that can be purchased as souvenirs.
A breath-taking view can be enjoyed from this look out point. On Seru Largu, the “large hill”, you
will be treated to the beautiful sight of the city of Kralendijk and the little island of Klein Bonaire.
A monument with the Papiamentu inscription “Kristu Ayera Awe Semper” which means “Christ,
Yesterday, Today and Forever” is located at the top of this hill which is an interesting sight. This
location attracts many visitors, and locals also journey to the top of the mountain to enjoy the
view and fireworks display that takes place here to welcome every new year.
