Mangrove Kayak Tours
Guided snorkeling and kayaking tours of Lac Bay’s pristine mangrove forests are offered from the Mangrove
Information Center. In the bay, the clear shallow waters are perfect for both kayaking and snorkeling and
offer visitors an opportunity to learn how the plants and animals have uniquely adapted to survive in their
environment. The assortment of different sea grass makes the bay a fertile environment for a wide variety of
species which include conch, juvenile reef fish, stingrays, lobsters and green turtles. For those less energetic,
the center also offers tours on “Solar Boats”.
