Once a plantation for cocoa, citrus and coffee, the center now makes it possible for visitors to see woodcreepers, pygmy owls, Hummingbirds and trogans or perhaps even the rare nocturnal bird, the oilbird. Funds made from tours and from guests at the lodge help pay for the center’s environmental education programs. Photo Credit: TripAdvisor
