St. Lucia, like most of the other
Caribbean islands, offer tourists an
opportunity to experience their

annual carnival celebrations.

During that time, the island will
be bathed in a sea of colors,
glitzy costumed masqueraders
and spectators, all enjoying this
much-anticipated time of year.
Local musicians and international
artistes add to the excitement
generated at carnival. Ethnic
rhythms fill the streets, food stalls,
people hanging out, attending
events, “liming”, all in a highly
festive mood - carnival is like no
other!
