In the past it has been used to study the Moon, pulsars and quasars and is currently involved in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) program. The drive down the winding road to the site will be well worth it. © Puerto Rico Tourism Company Rio Camuy Caves (Parque de las Cavernas del Río Camuy) Thought to be the third largest cave system in the world covering 268 acres, the Rio Camuy Caves system can be visited by taking a trolley bus to the entrance of a 200ft cave (sinkhole). A tour of the caves is an excellent chance to experience the natural wonders of nature with rivers rushing along the cave’s floor and stalactites and stalagmites adorning the floor and high ceiling.
