Marine Biological Station Dos Mosquises, Los Roques Scientific Foundation Occupying two of the islands in the Los Rogues group of islands, the Biology Research Station Marina jointly managed by Federal Dependencies of Venezuela and Fundación Científica Los Roques was built in 1976. This station located on the two islands, also known as “Dos Mesquises”, has ‘Adopt a Turtle’ as one of their projects.
