Les Saintes
Originally named Los Santos by
Christopher Columbus, Les Saintes are
a group of 8 small picturesque islands
off Guadeloupe’s southern coast. The
main and largest of these islands,
Terre-de-Haut has a variety of shops,
bistros and sandy beaches. Many of
Guadeloupe’s ferry companies provide
passage to the islands so visitors can
spend a day exploring them.

Plage Caravelle
Plage Caravelle is a stunningly beautiful
beach located just southwest of a quaint
town called Ste-Anne. This beach has
dazzlingly white sands and waters that are
ideal for snorkeling as they are protected
by a reef. This is a family friendly beach
good for sunbathing and snorkeling, but for
those who want a little more, the watersport
equipment and restaurant of Club Med are
just nearby.

La Pointe des Châteaux
La Pointe des Châteaux is a dramatically
scenic isthmus on Grande-Terre’s
easternmost edge. The rugged beauty of
castle like rock formations are due to the
rough waves as this is the point where
the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea
collide. From the village, a path leads to
some large black rocks which are a perfect
vantage point from which to see the
islands of Petite-Terre, Marie-Galante and
La Désirade.
