Sand Dunes of Barah D id you know that the Dominican Republic shelters a fascinating attraction? The country is not only replete with beautiful beaches, pine forests, tropical jungles and dusty coastlines, but it is also home to the Dunas de Bani (sand dunes). Located in the Las Calderas Peninsula about an hour from Santo Domingo, the sand dunes will deceive you into thinking you are in the middle of a desert. It covers a 9 mile area and goes up to heights of 115 feet. To appease the adventurer in you, hike through the sand dunes by all means, but be careful as the sand is very hot. During your hike, you will be greeted by the
