have 112 different species
of birds and hundreds
of species of plants and
animals including the
crowned, or white-headed
dove and the rhinoceros
iguana. The park is
surrounded by one of the
Caribbean’s largest marine
parks which is home to 4
different species of turtle,
bottlenose dolphins,
manatees and many
different fish. The park
itself contains some nice
beaches and a cave system
which has examples of pre-
Columbian art.
