Ambergris Caye
Within easy reach by boat
or plane from Belize City
is the 25 mile long island
of Ambergris Caye which
affords easy access to the
barrier reef. Although
most visitors and locals
alike spend much of their
days fishing, diving or
snorkeling, when on dry
land they use golf carts
to explore the variety of
shops, bars and restaurants
that line the cobbled
stoned streets of San Pedro,
the island’s town.
