New Years Junkanoo
Very similar to carnival in the other islands,
the Junkanoo sees costumed revelers taking
to the streets to welcome the new year,
accompanied by music and dancing. It is a
colourful expression of the history and culture
that is related to the days of slavery when
slaves were allowed this day only to celebrate
with friends and family.

Annual Chocolate Lovers Showcase
The Salvation Army benefits from this event
which explores the many creative ways
chocolate can be prepared. The event will be
held at the Palms.
