Puente de
Bacunayagua
(Bridge of Bacunayagua)
Built between 1956 and 1959, this magnificent
bridge connects the Cuban provinces of
Mayabeque and Matanzas. It is the country’s
highest bridge, standing at 103 metres above
sea level. Hugged by the verdant forests, this
impressive engineering feat presents a beautiful
picture and is a huge tourist attraction.
