Cayman Islands National Museum PlaceS of Interest Barker’s National Park This is bit of hidden gem on West Bay, Grand Cayman. It can be reached by following signs for Ristorante Pappagallo which is located at its entrance. The park offers a stunning, tranquil beach which stretches for miles, an ideal spot for swimming, as the crystal clear waters which lap the white sand are shallow and calm. Photo Credit: James Tibbetts Occupying the Cayman’s oldest public building, this museum displays over 1,500 items including prints, fossils, musical instruments, manuscripts and an array of other items, many of which are unique to the Cayman Islands. The museum’s gift shop also has a unique assortment of hand-made items, including some made from conch. It is located in George Town. Pictured here is one of the museum’s exhibits.
