Norman Island It is said Norman Island was Robert Louis Stevenson’s inspiration for his famous book, Treasure Island. This is very believable as many things on the island remind you of the by-gone pirating era. Even the names of some of the places on the island such as Money Bay, The Caves, Soldier Bay and Privateer Bay invoke thoughts of an excitingly dangerous period in the island’s history. PlaceS of Interest Jost Van Dyke This is one of the four major islands which make up BVI, very popular with yachts which often anchor at the sheltered Great Bay. A popular attraction on Jost Van Dyke is the Bubbly Pool, referred to as a natural Jacuzzi. Photo Credit: TripAdvisor Photo Credit: Matt & Nayoung
