Southampton Parish
Southampton Parish is located at the south-west end of the island. Its little islets
and peninsulas make a very pretty picture and in this part of the island you’ll
find some of the most picturesque beaches. This parish is lovely to explore.
Here you’ll find the cast-iron lighthouse which is believed to be the oldest in the
world. There are nature reserves, ponds, bays peninsulas, fantastic views of the
surrounding water and a farm. Care for a round of golf? That too you can do in
this parish and it is easy to get to, either by bus or ferry from Hamilton city.

This is where cruise ships would dock on Bermuda, in
Sandy’s Parish. It was once a British Naval outpost but
today, in contrast, it is a bustling facility designed to
accommodate the island’s tourists as they make their
way off the ship to shop and explore. Everything a guest
may need to know about the island they can find here
at one of the visitor information centers. Buses are also
on site and they can rent scooters from this location
if they so desire. Marina, shops, restaurants, museums
and beaches are all within the dockyard’s vicinity. You’ll
surely find something interesting to do here.
