Christ Church Cathedral
Although the current building was constructed in 1841, a church stood on that same ground since 1670.
In 1861 when Nassau officially became a city, the church was elevated to a cathedral. The old church
with its stained glass windows and colourful décor is considered, by both visitors and architects, to be a
memorable example of breathtakingly beautiful architecture.
