Brathwaite who hails from Montreal via Barbados,
steel drum player Gareth Burgess born in Canada
with strong Trinidadian roots, Eddie Bullen from
the spice Island Grenada, and Joaquin Nunez

About Dueling Pianos Dueling pianos is
a celebration of a parent’s dream to have their
offspring follow in their footsteps. My son Quincy
and I performed for audiences in the United
States, Canada and the Caribbean. This concept is:
dialogue between Quincy and myself, speaking
about his life growing up in the home where
music is part of life, and I talk about the challenges
and triumphs of attempting to ensure that he is a
contributing member of society.
About his album, Spice Island My
Dueling Pianos
Eddie & Quincy Bullen
album, Spice Island, chronicles the life of a young
budding musician on a tiny island, my memories
of places and things that have been the backdrop
of my life that brings back fond memories. I
thought it was time to look back and chronicle the
journey to North America.
