The Crucian Christmas Festival
This unique cultural experience is celebrated during the winter holidays each year on St . Croix . The festival features pageantry , music , food and dancing with beauty queen pageants ; a food , arts and crafts fair ; and the festival village , with performances from local and regional artists . A highlight of the event is the colorful costume parades through the streets , where both children and adults alike revel in the carnival spirit . The festivities began on December 10 , 2017 and will end on January 6 , 2018 .
