Sapodilla Bay provides a secluded protection for yachts. As the bay also
has calm, shallow waters it is an ideal swimming location for families with
small children. On a hilltop which overlooks the bay, there are stones with
engravings, left there by sailors from the past. Some people claim the
engravings are coded messages which give directions to buried treasure.
