NORTH COAST ROAD
On the north side of Trinidad, the road to Maracas
Beach from the capital of Port of Spain is known as
the North Coast Road (or Saddle Road). It is a drive
you will always remember. It takes you through
copious amounts of beautifully lush vegetation, and
with the many stopping/lookout points along the
way, you can get magnificent views of the Caribbean
Sea in certain areas. Perhaps the best stopping point
is Maracas Lookout with the best views of them all.
A bonus on that stop is the local delicacies that are
available for sale at that location.
