Although it is open every day of the
week, Saturday is the busiest day for
the Castries Market. The colourful
market is filled with many local
products including fruits, vegetables,
baskets of aromatic spices, oils and
locally made banana ketchup, as
well as handicraft like wood carvings
and souvenir items. Located on
the eastern-most point of Castries
harbor this is a great place to visit if
you want to get an insight into local
life. and of course if you want sample
fishbroth, cow heel soup and other
local food.
