Mount Liamuiga Volcano
A six-hour hike will take you up to Mount Liamuiga Volcano which stands
majestically at 3,792 feet on the western side of the island. Its crater is
an impressive 0.6-mile wide. On the hike, you will see the small villages
and lush farmland occupying the mountain slopes up to 1,500. At higher
elevations, the surrounding view is spectacular, which include views of
the neighbouring islands of Saba, St. Eustatius, Statia, St. Barthelemy, St.
Martin/St. Maarten, Antigua, and Nevis.
