National Carnival Grand Parade
As the island’s carnival draws to a close,
masqueraders take to the street in one
big festive parade. Colourful, costumed
carnival bands, traditional mas bands,
pulsating sounds of calypso and soca
music, and eager spectators all all part of
this Sugar Mas picture on the 1st day of
the New Year.
JANUARY 2
Sugar Mas’ (Carnival) Last Lap
The island’s carnival (Sugar Mas)
celebrations climaxes with a huge party
filled with costumed masqueraders and
carnival lovers.
FEBRUARY 3 - 8
Admiral’s Cup Pro-Am
Golf Tournament
In this tournament, PGA Club Professionals
and three amateurs pair up to compete
against other teams from golf clubs across
the U.S., Canada, UK and the Caribbean.
Tournament rounds occur on both St. Kitts
and its sister island of Nevis.
MARCH 25
17th Annual Bente Weber
Memorial Nevis to St. Kitts
Cross Channel Swim
An open water 2.5 miles (4km) swim,
which starts at Oualie Beach on Nevis and
goes accross the “Narrows”, ending at
Cockleshell Beach on St. Kitts.
