Bath Hotel and Spring House (Old Bath House)
In the island’s heyday around 1778, the Bath Hotel was built on Nevis. It was the island’s first hotel, hosting
important guests such as wealthy European aristocrats who would come to bathe in the healing waters outside
the hotel. Although today the hotel is in ruins, there are still two pools outside which collect run off water from
the mineral-rich volcano. Visitors often enjoy a quick dip in the pool which is still believed to have rejuvenating
powers.
