Zenoushka Meade I Miss St. Patrick’s Culture Queen 2016 Montserrat n 1995, I was born to a loving, academically-inclined, and overall amazing woman, whom I call my Mother. My earlier years were similar to any other child. I played, laughed, had a shy phase and a sibling who made it his mission to live up to the little brother stereotype (lol). I enjoyed growing up! In my secondary school years I was very adventurous. I was involved in after school activities and picked up the art of drama and crafting, both of which I still enjoy. I was also very independent. When I was 12, I decided I wanted a part time job and I have worked every day of my life since that day. Yes, I worked while I was attending school, but only on weekends, Christmas, Easter and summer breaks. At the age of 16, I start ed my tertiary education at the Antigua and Barbuda Hospitality Training institute, majoring in Resort Management. Tourism has always been the love of my life, hence my choice of studies. I am drawn to tourism, like bees to honey. I am yet to establish a career directly in the tourism industry but I am working on it. Currently, I am pursing a Bachelors in Project Management while working for the government of Montserrat and also at a digital media company, NUMBER 15 GRAPHICS.ANIMATION.VIDEO. To feed my craving for service under tourism, I also work part time at a delightful restaurant, Aqua Seafood Bar and Grill. Basically, I am a work-o- aholic by choice. I love to work hard and I get satisfaction in knowing that I do everything to the best of my ability. In my 22 years of living, I have seen and learned quite a bit. I have had good times, really good times, rough times and out right terrible times. Whether it’s been bad or good, I always find a way to progress. ” My life Motto is: Live, love, laugh and succeed!” “If you ever looked at a brochure advertising a vacation location and thought how peaceful it must be, that’s basically Montserrat. We live the authentic Caribbean lifestyle. Blue skies and seas, fresh air, vegetation everywhere, polite people, little to no crime rate, no traffic, no stress, no worries. It’s an oasis with modern day luxury. Before I lived in Montserrat, I was once a constant visitor. For me, the only time I can remember feeling any ounce of sadness throughout those visits was when I had to leave to go back to Antigua. I fell head over heels in love with Montserrat and I am now proud to call it home.” ~ Zenoushka
