Marine Biology Station, Dos Mosquises
The Los Roques Scientific Foundation manages this research station where endangered turtles are
hatched, raised and protected for at least a year, then released into their natural environment. The staff
at this facility are dedicated and very knowledgeable about the turtles they protect. It is a great learning
experience for both children and adults and you’ll have the opportunity to adopt and name a turtle. The
beach is quite lovely too and with few people around, you may just have the beach all to yourself.
