National Botanical Garden
Covering over 200 acres, this is a beautiful,
relaxing place to visit and one which any
age can appreciate. A cute choo-choo train
will take you on a tour where you’ll find
a Japanese Garden, beautiful flora and a
Butterfly Zone. It was ranked by England’s
Kew Gardens amongst the 10 best in the
world. The garden was named after the
prominent Dominican botanist, Dr. Rafael
Bayahibe M. Moscoso, founder of the
Botanical Institute of the Autonomous
University of Santo Domingo.
