Parque Historico Militar
Morro-la Cabana
Encompassing two of Havana’s fortresses, El
Morro and la Cabana, this site was once the
largest defensive complex in the Americas
and has served many other purposes in
the past. During the Batista regime it was
a military prison but later became Che
Guevara’s headquarters. Ascending to the top
of the fort, visitors are afforded magnificent
views of the city and the ocean lines.
