Shanika Burnett shakad Eco Wear Barbados
“ All of the outfits in these photographs are part of our new Shakad Eco Wear line called EcCoCa which features various hand applique techniques in the detailing and embellishments .
For this collection , I was very inspired by the fabric itself and tried to let the fabric tell its own story . I wanted to play up the natural element so I embellished with recycled hand made rope , coconut and calabash .
All of the photos were taken around the beautiful and historic Bridgetown in Barbados .”
