In your opinion , what are the components of a great carnival experience in Trinidad ? I believe there are many components that go into a great Carnival Experience . The electric atmosphere and energy on the road . The best music , DJs , Entertainers and Artists have a big part to play in having a great experience as well . Also , the camaraderie and togetherness we feel on the road as one people , moving together as a TRIBE ! We pride ourselves on the fantastic service and all inclusive experience we provide for our masqueraders . Imagine 2 days of parading on the streets of T and T , with everything being taken care of . But most of all our Masqueraders safety ; giving them the ability to revel in the streets with their friends and family feeling safe and secure .
Tell us about your band Tribe , which is said to be Trinidad ’ s premier carnival band . The TRIBE Band was founded in 2005 , and was the first ever fully all inclusive band in Trinidad and Tobago . At the time it definitely changed the game and influenced the direction of Modern Carnival holistically into a comprehensive , service driven package , where masqueraders pay one price with everything included . Some of the amenities we provide our masqueraders are :
2 days of Music . Alcoholic Drinks Shuttle Services . Breakfast Lunch . Rest Parks Cool Zones . Portable Toilets
We have also revolutionized the masquerader experience from start to finish with our goody bags in the past , by providing different goodies such as Flip-Flops , Shoes , Towels , Backpacks , Beach Bags to name a few .
How has the band evolved over the years ? Since our Inception in 2005 we have launched 2 new Carnival Bands , “ BLISS Carnival ” and “ The Lost Tribe ”. BLISS Carnival caters for a more super premium inclusive clientele giving masqueraders an even more ultimate carnival experience . The Lost Tribe Carnival ; dubbed “ A Revolution of Mas ” this band seeks to bridge a gap between traditional mas and contemporary , or to put it simpler , between “ the old school and the new school ” of mas ’.
