The fort was built by the Dutch in 1631 . A small hike is required to get to the fort but the view is spectacular and well worth the trek .

This zoo houses a wide variety of animals including monkeys . There ’ s a reptile house , bat house and a petting zoo . Kids will be delighted with Captain Hodges Playground at the zoo which features an interactive pirate ship playground and a variety of other outdoor play equipment .
