What types of cuisine do you typically prepare ?
It depends . I sometimes get to cook for people who are vegetarian . But most of the time , people ask me to prepare fresh salads or local fish . I make ceviche with it or cook it with fresh sautéd baby vegetables . From time to time , a client may ask me to prepare a special dish that they like a lot . Recently I made a nice Turkey stuffed with cornbread , cranberry , mince , nuts and Armagnac for Thanksgiving !! That is very specific . For desserts most of them ask me to make the famous Caramelised Mango Tarte Tatin with caramel and coconut ice cream or hazelnut soufflé . I am also in contact with a great local butcher who imports great meats from Canada , Ireland and also France . I won ’ t talk to you about my Molten Chocolate Lava Cake ! No !!

There ’ s a local saying - buy a ticket , fall in love , never come back !! That ’ s what happened to me !
For an authentic island experience , I invite you to eat the local food , go to the local fruit market in Lorient and get some fresh coconut water and mangoes . Go to Gouverneur beach to enjoy the blue sea and the sunset . Go to the Select Bar where every one goes for a drink - it is said that Johnnie Depp used to go there for a drink . Then , when you get home , enjoy a great dinner already prepared for you by your private Chef David . Then , head to the Sayolita for a great cocktail , surrounded by surfers !!
