Waterlemon Cay
Located on St. John, this is a popular place for snorkeling with many nurse sharks, sting rays and
turtles to see. Close to the snorkeling area are ruins of a colonial era plantation and also Windy Mill
ruins and the ruins of an Old Danish Guardhouse which reminds visitors that the islands were once
under Danish rule.
Honeymoon Beach, Water Island
It is quite easy for people visiting Honeymoon Beach to participate in whatever water sport they
may choose. Kayak, paddleboard, and snorkeling gear along with fi ns and masks are available
for rent in the shops on site. The beach’s soft white sand invite sun-worshippers and swimming,
snorkeling and also fi shing are part of a day’s excursion for many. The beach’s amenities include
changing rooms and places to buy food and drink, including alcohol for those so inclined. Getting
here is easy. Take a water taxi from Crown Bay Marina and you’ll be here in about 15 minutes. It
can get crowded sometimes especially when cruise ship passengers arrive but even so, this will not
diminish the fun you’ll experience.
