Crab Fest Catching local land crabs is part of the culture of Middle Caicos and their annual Crab Fest showcases a distinctive aspect of the islands’ heritage. Rain and crabs at springtime! As the crab holes fill with water, the occupants are forced to come out and eager crab-catchers are usually waiting to scoop them up. The crabs are plenty and the art of catching them may be something you’ll have to learn, but the thrill of the catch can be quite a fun experience. Crab Fest presents a splendid opportunity for local chefs to demonstrate the very many ways land crabs can be tastily prepared and enjoyed even by the most discerning of palates. The event will be held at Bambarra Beach from 10:00 am on June 29th and it goes on all day! Why not join them this year? Check out their Facebook page for information. Food . Beverages .
