Minister
Pearl Mc Master
Pearl Mc Master hails
from the Leeward side of
the beautiful Gem of the
Antilles, St. Vincent and
the Grenadines. She gave
her heart to the Lord at
the tender age of fi fteen.
Some of her earliest musical
infl uences were; Shirley
Caesar, Yolanda Adams, Bebe
& CeCe Winans and Bridget
Blucher, which have assisted
in honing her spiritual gifts;
among them being the
ability to sing and minister in
music. The songbird began
her music ministry at the age
of seventeen with her twin
sister Pearla and became
lead vocalist in the New Life
Ambassadors Gospel Band.
This prolifi c Minister’s
motivation to remain in
ministry is grounded in her
love for people and seeing
persons giving their lives to
Christ. She takes pleasure
in the knowledge that
persons are encouraged
and blessed by her ministry.
She articulates, “I have had
persons come up to me
on numerous occasions
and express how much my
singing has touched their
lives and made a diff erence. I
know for a fact that God has
called me to this purpose
for such a time and I must
be obedient to His call. This
really gives me the drive; I
really do not have a choice in
the matter,” she adds with a
smile.
Outside of being a full time
Librarian, Songbird, Minister
of the Word and Psalmist,
she likes to spend time with
her daughter, Alexa. She
describes her as energy-
packed and fun to be with.
She also enjoys being away
from the maddening crowd
in her ‘own zone’ just sitting
and watching the news, or
reading and (you guessed it)
listening to music.
Pearl has recorded two
albums with New Life
Ambassadors, namely: “We
Sing Praises” and Almighty
Project” and has ministered
with the group for over 20
years. The iconic Pearl then
joined the ensemble “Called
Out” as a lead vocalist and
collaborated in Ministry
with them for the past six
years. Pearl has played an
active role in the annual SVG
Gospel Festival activities
over the years by writing
and vocalizing theme songs
for the Festival and also
featuring in the Gospel Fest
Showcases.
