Cocktail
It may be potent, but it’s so good . . .
Some say the best cocktail on the island can
be found at Sunshine’s Bar with their signature
Killer Bee which is advised should not be
consumed by the faint of heart. A special mix
of orange and passion fruit juice, honey, rum,
dash of pepper, nutmeg and maybe a few
more secret ingredients thrown in, and you’ll
be sipping on a robust Caribbean concoction.
One of the beauties of a small island is that
places are relatively close to each other so bar-
hopping can be done with ease. While one bar
may serve an irresistible mango-based martini,
another may tease with pineapple juice and
rum. Regardless of the restaurant or bar you
choose to go to, each will all have a tropical
fruit-based cocktail on their menu. And if
they don’t, I’m certain you will be allowed to
suggest a mix of your own.

Nevis’ Mango and Food Festival 2019
is fast approaching and this is an excellent time
to be on the island.
Held in July each year, the festival highlights
the culinary fl exibility of this delectable tropical
fruit. With each dish, chefs delight and amaze
the palate of patrons who all leave with a greater
appreciation of this modest fruit.
