Located in Paget Parish and covering 35 acres , the Bermuda Botanical Gardens has featured banyan trees , hibiscus and sub-tropical fruit trees since its inauguration in 1898 . The gardens also contain an aviary and a uniquely designed aromatic garden which can be enjoyed by the blind . The Gardens also house the Bermuda Premier ’ s Official Residence which is open for visitors on Tuesdays , Wednesdays , and Fridays .
