Champagne Reef A short drive from the city of Roseau in the island’s south-west, within the Soufriere-Scott’s Head Marine Reserve, is the fascinating Champagne Reef. Gas from geothermal activity within the seabed emit bubbles underwater which looks very much like champagne bubbles. These volcanic bubbles can feel warm to the touch. It is a spectacular natural wonder and when coupled with the golden seabed and surrounding marine life, it all makes for a scenic, captivating dive. Photo Credit: Christophe Migeon
