Kalilah has been writing since she could form letters on paper. Her mother still has her first “book”,
written at age 7, and fully illustrated. It was called “The Computer and the Mouse”, followed her
second, titled “Sheba the Pup”.
She always loved to read, and being drawn into a world of creative imagery, or a different time and
place. Kialilah’s love of reading is what inspired her desire to write, to create beautiful words and
sentences and paragraphs that other people could enjoy. . .
“One of the things that makes Jamaica a great place to live is that there’s always something to do.
These people know how to party! From Sunday to Sunday, there’s never a dull day. My husband
and I love to go dancing. On Sundays, it’s always fun to know that a beautiful beach is never more
than an hour’s drive away.” - Kalilah
