The Ladder was built along a ridge that led to
Ladder Bay. This ridge led to a gut which provided
easy access to The Bottom
The trail leading from The Ladder to The Bottom
Flat Point: The furnace flue, where
crushed sugar cane was tossed in to
fuel the fire to boil the kettles in the
chamber above.
