Casual Night-Time Event A casual event at night calls for dressier clothing than you would wear sightseeing or to the beach. A flowing blouse or dress with long or short sleeves not only looks elegant, it also keeps you warm during the cool Caribbean nights. It’s always best though to take along a cardigan or shawl to ensure you can enjoy the romantic starry nights without shivering. Gentlemen can opt for a lightly tailored short sleeved linen or cotton shirt or a nice polo shirt. While shorts are ok for a casual setting it’s best to wear a pair of long pants i.e. khakis and loafers. After all, you’re on vacation in a tropical paradise. You don’t know where you might end up.
