Fortaleza de San Carlos de la Cabaña This fort was built after Havana was captured by the British in 1792 and is the largest fort in the Americas covering 10 hectares. It was once used as a prison, a storage facility and the headquarters of Che’ Guevara. It has since been restored and today houses museums, souvenir shops, cultural events and book fairs. With 15 different dive sites, you’ll find divers here from all over the world.
