Getting involved with the wider University community Volunteering and Duke of Edinburgh Through the ENSA Volunteer Base, V Base, you may be able to gain non-academic credit and a supported personal development pathway for any non-paid, extra-curricular activity you undertake while at the University. Volunteering is a vital form of support for many local charities, and ENSA can connect you with the opportunities in your area. ENSA Volunteering runs a vbase website that provides access to hundreds of opportunities from our local charity partners. The Duke of Edinburgh Award is open to anyone (with exception of global online students and students studying at a campus overseas) up to the age of 24 and ENSA is here to help you achieve your Award, whether you are very new to it or have already started somewhere else. Getting involved You will be offered opportunities to feedback your views to your student representatives, the Programme Teams and the University generally in a variety of ways including: questionnaires, surveys, focus groups, meetings with your Personal Development Tutor, representative forums and many more. More information is available on myNapier. Your programme will also have a Student Staff Liaison Committee.
