T
he start of a new year and here
at MFCH Magazine
the start of a new adventure.
This magazine has been a long time in the
planning and the dreaming. I meet many
talented and passionate people in my everyday
life here, and my pleasure is to share. I’m joined
by gifted writers and photographers and our aim
is to bring you a magazine full of beautiful
images of French life, with insights into homes,
gardens and traditional savoir faire. France has a
rich heritage of great design and good living,
and it’s our privilege to guide you around ; take
you behind the scenes ; lead you off the beaten
track and to show you the corners of France that
the casual visitor rarely sees.
So what is the draw of France? British born I’ve
lived here all of my adult life, married to a
French man with our children raised and
schooled here. I can say that I know the country
well. But I still have an objective ‘foreigner’s’
eye, which allows me to enjoy the French
architecture, the landscapes, the rhythm of life,
the good food and wine and so much more.
Times are changing fast around the world. Here
in France, it feels as if we can still live at a slower
pace, I hope that in this magazine, we’ll manage
to convey to you a little of this authentic and
everyday French living.
