5 ESA Friendly Home Cleaning Tips
Keeping the house clean with pets and free emotional support animal letter is quite a
challenge as you will need to be diligent and careful when cleaning the house and keeping it
clean and smelling fresh. Most of the animals are allergic to the usual cleaning material and
may harm them in many ways.
Therefore, it is better that you use the ways and methods that are safe for both you and your
animals. Below are some of the ways that are helpful in keeping your house clean and odorless.
1. Go in a Top to Down Cleaning Motion
Animal hair is light and they could float and reach places that are clean and easy to mess up.
The best way of making sure that the hair is cleaned properly and you do not mess with the
clean area, use disposable paper or cleaning towels and go from top to down. Using damp cloth
will make the job more effective as it will catch and keep all the hair in the cloth.
2. Steam Clean the Curtains and Upholstery
Curtains, drapes, and upholstery all work as a hair and odor magnet. These are the things that
many of the pet and ESA owners ignore and are they usually have more dirty components than
the floor or fans. Steam cleaning them will make sure that they are thoroughly cleaned or if you
can, wash them in hot water and dry them for few hours in the shade. Steam cleaning will also
clean away any possible fleas and dust mites and is safe for the animals of the house.
3. Use Mats under the Food and Water Bowls
Animals are not the neatest of the eaters and if your animal is an ESA dog then rest assured
that your floors will catch lots of food crumbs and water dribbles. Placing an easy to change and
clean mats under these bowls will make sure that the crumbs and excess water, dripping from
the jaws of your precious canine, are caught on the mats instead of the floors.
