The mission of the Division of Academic Affairs is to ensure delivery of quality degree and certificate programs that provide students with knowledge , skills , and competencies that prepare them for success in their chosen careers ; motivate them to pursue graduate and advanced study ; and equip them for meaningful interactions in a global society and diverse world .
The Division of Academic Affairs is committed to providing faculty with opportunities and activities that enhance teaching ; foster involvement in research and other scholarly endeavors ; and promote participation in university and community services .
