Ras Alkhaimah , UAE
Dr . Alkhabuli was awarded his BDS degree by the University of Garyounis , Libya ( 1985 ). After graduatation he joined the ministry of health and , while working as a general dental practioner until 1998 , he gained most of his clinical experience . He was also appointed director of the Aujillah health center , head of the Oasis medical and dental association , director of the dental section of the SIRTCO medical department . The Leeds Univeristy , UK awarded him his MDS and also his PhD in oral pathology ( 2001-2005 ). He is also a Member of the Faculty of Royal College of Physician and Surgeons ( Glasgow ), UK and Fellow of the International College of Dentists . His main research interest is the role of immunosurveillance cells in oral tumours and he has published several papers on this topic .
