My city, problems to sort out
"I believe that there are different aspects in our town, Barbastro, which should be taken into account a bit more and it would permit to improve the environment and to make Barbastro a more agreeable town.
First of all the cleaning of streets. When you are walking aroundBarbastro you can see a lot of papers and butts that people have thrown on the ground and, above all, dog poops. This problem can be only solved educating citizens by using appropriately wastepaper baskets and making dog owners aware of the fact that when they take them out for a walk they must pick up the excrements that they leave on the streets.
Another problem that I have noticed is about recycling because there are many people that don´t do it correctly and many times you can find plastics in bins of paper and vice versa, besides there are few bins of paper or they are very small because every day there are a lot of boxes and cardboard stacked outside them and this image is awful.
On the other hand I consider that gardening should be improved. Barbastro has little green zones and they aren’t well cared because apart from flowers and trees you can see a lot ofweeds that need to be cut. In the entrances of the city there are some roundabouts, totally sloppy; this could be avoided planting trees and plants to offer the visitor a better image of Barbastro.
